Anthony Dalton, Viscount Norcourt needs to get his niece into Mrs. Harris’ School for Young Ladies. It is the only way to help push for the right to be her guardian. If he doesn’t become her guardian, his evil aunt and uncle will and he can’t have that. He really needs the school’s support because his rakish reputation is a big black mark in his favor.

Madeline Prescott is a teacher at the school and desperate to clear her father’s name. She just needs to get an audience with Sir Humphrey Davy but it is proving to be a hard task. When she realizes that Viscount Norcourt is trying to get his niece into the school, Madeline realizes that he might be able to help her. The Viscount happens to friends with Sir Humphrey.
Anthony has agreed to give rakehell lessons to the girls of the school for two weeks to prove to Mrs. Harris that is will be a good guardian and that his niece should go there. Of course it doesn’t hurt that Miss Prescott is easy on the eyes. But when she blackmails him, he realizes there is more to her than meets the eye.

This is book 4 of the School for Heiresses series. Loved it! I am a big fan of Sabrina Jeffries.
